Third Avenue Church & Community
Our Worshipping Community in Gillingham is thriving. We have nearly 130 members and each week we see new people joining us. We have a wonderful group of people who lead us and inspire us with their music making but also in a lively and deep sense of the presence of God.
We are engaged in many activities during the week and have a significant number of people under 25 who lead and enjoy the multitude of different groups that meet regularly These range from socialising to deep study of the issues which the new generations find challenging.
We have started to run a fortnightly Youth Club on a Wednesday night from 7-9pm. It is a time and space for young people to come , relax and hang out with each other. Some weeks the activities are video games and table tennis and other weeks we have more structured activities such as a Messy Games night. The age range for the group is those at senior school which is year 11 upwards. For more details please contact the church office.
