There is also a weekly online service at 10.30 on Sunday mornings details here
The Church in Hope Street is a "Local Ecumenical Project" by the Methodist and URC churches.
Situated in the heart of Sheerness The Hope Street Centre offers a variety of services aimed at serving our local community.
We pride ourselves on our "service with a smile" approach and offer a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors to the Centre. Why not come along and see for yourself what we have to offer.
The front of the Centre (off the Rose Street car park) houses the Lighthouse Coffee Shop where you can sit and chat whilst enjoying a drink and hot or cold snack. The coffee shop offers a varied and value for money menu the scones are second to none! It also caters for celebrations and events, either in the building or with external buffets.
The Centre has a UK Online 12 computer suite – Hope On Line runs classes and courses for absolute beginners as well as more experienced users, all at very reasonable prices.
Need some help or advice, look no further as Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) operate from the Centre. They can help with debt problems, benefits, employment, housing, relationship and legal issues.
If you require a hall or room for a meeting, celebration or a business event or training course we have fully equipped rooms available for hire. The building is fully accessible and the coffee shop can supply catering to suit your needs.
You may just want a chat with someone from the church or to sit peacefully and maybe pray, call in and we will see what we can do for you.
We look forward to welcoming new faces to The Hope Street Centre and helping the community of Sheerness.
