We would have a wonderful church
if it weren't for all these awkward folk!

Wherever there are people, there will be conflict – and churches are no exception -
but conflict can be an opportunity for growth.
As Christians, we are called to find Positive Ways of Working Together:
the way we behave with each other can be the most powerful witness we preach!

If you've got any awkward folk at your church...

North Kent Methodist Circuit and the Methodist SouthEast Region Learning Network
invite you to attend:

Growing through Change and Conflict

Saturday, 4 February 2023, 10 am till 3 pm
Larkfield Methodist Church
New Hythe Lane, Aylesford, ME20 6PN (across from Morrison's)
Church car park is accessible from A20/London Road next to the Ward's

Please bring a packed lunch

Growing through Change and Conflict offers support and training to Church Leaders, lay and ordained, as they recognise and respond to conflict. The day offers the opportunity to consider our own personal responses to conflict, to discuss our experience of conflict within a small group, to explore how conflict escalates within a faith setting, and to consider some simple techniques to lower the level of the conflicts that we experience.
