Human trafficking is a crime that exploits women, children and men for numerous purposes including forced labour and sex. The United Nations estimates that 21 million people are victims globally. The UN Day Against Trafficking in Persons takes place on the 30 July to raise awareness and to promote and protect the rights of victims. For more information, click here.
